Faculty of Accountancy was started in Jengka since 1996 and offers opportunities to those who wish to become qualified accountants and plays a very significant role for the nation building, particularly in providing relevant professional and sub-professional Bumiputeras for the accountancy profession.

The lecturers are from various areas of expertise covering financial accounting and reporting, cost and management accounting, financial management, taxation, auditing, and accounting information system.

  • To produce 50% graduates with a minimum CGPA of 3.00.

  • To ensure the involvement of every lecturer in students’ activity at least two per semester.

AC110 - Diploma In Accountancy

This programme is designed to train students in the field of accountancy at a sub professional level
Full time: 5 semesters
SPM or equivalent recognized by the Government of Malaysia with three (3) credits including Bahasa Melayu and pass History, grade B for English and grade C+ for Mathematics/Additional Mathematics.
Graduates will be able to fill job vacancies in any private companies, public institutions, and financial institutions as an account assistant, auditor, assistant bank officer, tax consultant assistant.

DIA graduates with good academic results may further their studies at any local or foreign institution of higher learning.  Among the courses available are:

  • Bachelor in Accountancy (Hons.) (UiTM)
  • Bachelor in Accountancy (Local/Foreign Universities)
  • Professional courses (MICPA, ACCA and CIMA)
The DIA programme is divided into 5 semesters with the emphasis on inter-disciplinary approach to accounting. 34 subjects must be completed to earn the Diploma
